Online CEUs

We are pleased to announce the addition of all new online and home study course offerings. The Florida Association of School Psychologists has teamed up with a nationally recognized and approved CE provider to offer high quality, yet affordable, 24 hour a day continuing education programs. In addition to School Psychologists, we now also offer these programs to, Psychologists, Social Workers, Mental Health Counselors, Licensed Professional Counselors, Drug and Alcohol professionals and Florida Nurses. Also included are the Florida required courses for Prevention of Medical Errors 2 CE Credits, Domestic Violence 1 CE Credit.

All proceeds from these offerings will be used to provide further education, supervision and advocacy to our members at the state and local levels. Course offerings can be accessed through this link.

Continuing Education Required for Renewal (Additional information is available on Florida's Department of Health's - Medical Quality Assurance Website)

Every applicant for licensure renewal shall complete thirty (30) hours of continuing education credit.

  • A 2-hour continuing education course, approved by the board, on domestic violence, as defined in s. 741.28, as part of every third biennial relicensure or recertification Section 456.031, F.S.
  • Two (2) of the thirty (30) hours, must be on the prevention of medical errors consistent with Section 456.013, F.S.
  • The licensee shall retain for four (4) years certificates of attendance or other records to document the completion of the continuing education requirement.
